Description
This water-cooled pump series has a pumping speeds ranging from 5,000 to 50,000 l/s and has been specifically developed and optimized for industrial high-vacuum applications with high pumpig speeds. For applications in the range of 10-4 mbar, our diffusion pumps are equipped with the so-called baffle cap, which provides a high gas throughput.
The optionally available baffle cap reduces the pumping capacity by 20%. However, it significantly decreases oil backstreaming. Even better results regarding backstreaming are achieved with separate baffles, which reduce the pumping capacity by 50%.
