Ferrofluid sealed rotary feedthrough
Description
Neyco offers a broad range of ferrofluid sealed rotary feedthroughs.
The technology of these feedthroughs is based on the ability of the ferrofluid, in the presence of a permanent magnetic field, to create a physical barrier to gases, vapours and other contaminants. The rings of ferrofluid thus form liquid seals.
Typically these feedthroughs consist of the ferrofluid, a permanent magnet, two stationary pole pieces, a housing and a shaft.
